The lovely people at Vintage books asked me to write a bit of an introduction to Gladys Mitchell’s crone-like detective Mrs Bradley over at Dead Good Books and as I love her very much I was more than happy to oblige.

You can read it here.

4 Thoughts on “Me Elsewhere: Discovering the Great Gladys

  1. I really want to get into the Mrs Bradley books. Where should I start?

I started Speedy Death yesterday on my ereader and have the next one, The Mystery of a Butcher’s Shop in paper. Thanks so much Gav for a new author! I have been reading deep and dark ( at least to me) for my 2 book groups and it is nice to have a break with a murder mystery! I am a big Agatha Christie fan and so far I am enjoying Gladys Mitchell very much!
